Let's Go Fly a Kite!

What a great day. We had some wonderful Room 4 and 5 students who helped us make our kites this morning and a fun afternoon at Malvern Park flying them.

Paper Aeroplanes

Today we looked at the properties of flight - thrust, weight, drag and lift. We then had a go at making the basic dart and looked at how it flew.

First Officer Tait

On Thursday afternoon Mr Tait came to tell us all about being a pilot and how planes fly.

Funky Hat Friday

Today we wore funky hats for a bit of fun. We brought a bar of chocolate each for the PTA.

Air Force Museum

We had a very interesting morning at the Air Force Museum. Our first activity was in the classroom with Chris who taught us all about air. Then we went on a scavenger hunt all around the museum.
